When Liz and Tim booked me for their wedding this weekend at Pier V, we had two months to go, and a lot to do! With regard to design, the Harbor West Ballroom has a strong personality comprised of yellows, golds, purples, oranges and reds - not the easiest to compliment, especially with flowers. However throwing a fall wedding makes it a tad easier, and when Liz described her J. Crew bridesmaid dresses as a "violet stone" I new we were in luck. All we needed was a touch of grey, and Christine at Fleur de Lis to pull it all together! Here are a few images of our inspiration for this lovely October wedding:
